How to use Microsoft Excel 2010 Templates


Excel has several templates that are in the application and are also available online at Office.com. Example of these templates include budgets, invoices, forms, etc. Many of these templates can be customized for your purpose. To access and use a template, do the following:

1. Click on [File], then on [New]. The window below will be displayed:



2. To choose a template that is already installed on your computer:
Under [Available Templates], click on a category, for example: [Sample Templates].

3. To choose a template that is online:
Under [Office.com Templates], click a category, for example: Budgets.
To download a template, select a template and then click [Download].
