How to remove the background of a picture in Microsoft Word 2010


Microsoft Word 2010 allows you to remove a background from a picture in order to highlight the subject of the picture. Do the following:


Note: Whenever you insert or click on an existing picture, the formatting tab with Picture Tools appears.
1. Click the picture that you want to remove the background from.
2. Under [Picture Tools], on the [Format] tab, in the [Adjust] group, click [Background Removal].
 


3. Use the lines to select the specific object in the picture that you want as shown above.
