Inserting a picture in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010


You can insert or copy pictures into your PowerPoint presentation from different sources.

To insert picture from a file:
1. On your slide, click where you want to insert the image.
2. On the [Insert] tab, in the [Images] group, click [Picture]
3. Locate the picture that you want to insert from your computer, and then double-click it.
You may resize your picture.
 

To insert picture from a webpage:
1. On the Web page, right-click the picture that you want.
2. Click [Save Picture As] on the shortcut menu.
3. Enter the name that you want in the [File name] box, and then click [Save].
4. On your slide, on the [Insert] tab, in the [Images] group, click [Picture].
5. Locate the picture that you saved in step 3, and then click [Insert].
You may resize your picture.
