How to remove Duplicate Values in Microsoft Excel 2010

To remove duplicate values from cells, rows, or columns in a worksheet, do the following:
Note: You will permanently delete data when using this method.

1. Select the range of cells.
2. On the [Data] tab, in the [Data Tools] group, click [Remove Duplicates].



The [Remove Duplicates] dialog box will be displayed as shown below:



3. Selecting your data columns:
To quickly select all columns, click [Select All].
To quickly clear all columns, click [Unselect All], then select only the columns that you want.

4. Click [OK]
A message will be displayed indicating how many duplicate values were removed and how many unique values remain, or if no duplicate values were removed. Then click [OK].
